Pagetime is made by one person, and the same person answers the letters. Write to [email protected] — in English, or in any of the app’s seven languages.
What to write
Three things make it quicker: the app version (at the bottom of Settings), the iOS version, and what you pressed just before it broke. A screenshot is worth ten paragraphs.
We answer within a few working days. Requests about your data are answered within a month, usually much sooner.
Cancelling the subscription
The subscription lives in the App Store rather than with us: on the iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Pagetime. Cancelling holds until the end of the paid period, and the AI and sync keep working all that time.
Refunds are Apple’s. Ask through reportaproblem.apple.com — we have no access to payments.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings, the Account section, Delete Account. Everything is wiped from the server, conversations included. Books, sessions and notes stay on the phone — deleting the app deletes those.
Taking your notes with you
In the app: Settings, Export Notes. You get a file with every thought, quote and idea arranged by book; send it to yourself by email or drop it into Files. No account needed.
Questions that come up
- The AI and sync ask you to sign in because otherwise the server has no way of knowing whose notes these are and whose subscription to check.
- The app’s language comes from the phone’s settings and changes there: Settings, Pagetime, Language.
- Photographed pages go nowhere; the recognition happens on the phone.
- The timer, your books, notes and reading stats work offline. AI, sync and fetching book details from Apple Books need an internet connection.
